At WAH-WAH, we have a long tradition of collaborating with musicians, especially those who share our values of community and inclusivity. So we are honoured to have teamed up with Music In Exile on our latest design!

The front design features an image of Mohamed Camara from Jarabi band, as well as Music In Exile's mantra, "Welcome those around you with open arms and an open heart". The Arabic text on the sleeve reads: "You can't clap with one hand". Truer words were never spoken!

About Music in Exile:

Music in Exile is a not-for-profit record label and registered charity aimed at increasing access to resources and building professional networks for musicians with lived experience of migration and displacement who are working in the Australian music industry.

They operate on an ‘artist first’ principle, ensuring that individual artists have ownership over the tools and resources necessary to build viable careers for themselves in our industry, thereby contributing to ongoing change and working to build an arts sector that truly reflects the myriad viewpoints and experiences to be found in Australian society.

All royalties from the sale of this collaboration go back into furthering the incredible work of Music in Exile and the artists they represent.
