EXCHANGES & RETURNS

Australian Customers

EXCHANGES:
An exchange is no problem! Just contact us within 4 days of receiving your order and we’ll send you an email letting you know how to send it back to us. (Make sure the item is unworn, the tags are attached, and it is and in its original packaging!) When it gets back to us, we’ll conduct a quality control check to make sure the item hasn’t been worn/used. We will then send an invoice for the additional postage to send the replacement item(s). Once paid the replacement will ship the following business day.



REFUNDS:

Simply contact us within 4 days of receiving your order and we’ll send you an email containing instructions of how to return the item. The customer should ensure the item is unworn, the tags are attached, and it is and in its original packaging. When it gets back to us, before processing the refund, we will conduct a quality control check to make sure the item hasn’t been worn/used.


Note concerning pre-orders:
Pre-Orders can only be cancelled within the first 24 hours after the order has been placed. After that, they cannot be refunded but only exchanged for another item or gift certificate

United States Customers

RETURNS:
Due to the tariffs imposed by the United States, we are unable to offer change of mind returns for the time being.

EXCHANGES:
Exchanges are still an option for US customers, however the customer will be required to pay additional tariff costs (which were built into the initial item price). These extra costs can be significant so please choose carefully when making a purchase! If you would like more information on tariffs, please contact us at info@wahwahaustralia.com

Customers in the Rest of the World

EXCHANGES:
For customers in the rest of the world (other than Australian and the United States), simply let us know within 4 days of receiving your order and we will send you instructions on how to exchange your item for something more suitable. Make sure to keep the tags attached and that the garment is unworn and in its original packaging. Exchanges will incur an additional fee equal to the shipping charge on the original order. Additionally, buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply in their country.


RETURNS:
For returns, contact us within 4 days of receiving your order and we will send instructions for returning your item. The customer must make sure the garment is unworn, the tags are attached, and it is in the original packaging. Once received, we will conduct a quality control check to make sure the garment hasn't been worn/used. Upon completion of the check a refund will be issued.

What countries do you ship to?

We ship worldwide! If you live in a remote overseas location and just want to double check we can safely deliver your WAH-WAH to you, feel free to email info@wahwahaustralia.com prior to purchase.

Please note that you are responsible for any additional import duties and taxes imposed by your country! (US orders are an exception. See below.) Contact your local custom’s offices if you require more information regarding duties and taxes. We cannot incorrectly declare your order or mark it as a gift. Delivery may be delayed due to customs clearance.

How long does your warehouse take to process orders?

Our wonderful warehouse staff will do their utmost to see that your orders are fulfilled within 1-2 business days.

What’s the go with pre-orders?

Usually when you order from us, the items are in our warehouse, itching to go. But when an item is listed as a “pre-order”, you are buying something that doesn’t exist yet… but your order means that it will in the future! (Who says magic isn’t real?) What this means in practice is that your item is being ‘made-to-order’ and usually involves a longer waiting time until it ships (indicated on the product page).

The other important things to note about pre-orders are the following:

1. You can only cancel such orders within the first 24 hours… so don’t order until you are sure!

2. Because they are made-to-order, pre-orders cannot be returned for a refund. They can only be exchanged for a different item or store credit. So once again, make sure you are sure before you buy!

Where can I find my tracking number?

As soon as your item ships from our warehouse we will send you an email that contains the tracking details for your package.  If for some reason you have lost or didn’t receive your tracking details, just email us and include your name, address, and what you ordered.

Where is my order confirmation email?

Didn’t receive your confirmation email? Not to worry! First check your spam and/or junk folders. If you still can’t find it, just email us and we’ll send you a replacement confirmation. (In the email, state your name, address, and what you ordered from us).

Can I change or cancel my order after it has been placed?

Changed your mind? Most orders can be cancelled if they haven’t been shipped. If they have been shipped, you can always return the item for a refund (see above).

Note about Pre-Orders: pre-orders can only be cancelled within the first 24 hours, regardless of whether they have been shipped. So it is best not to order unless you are completely sure!

Do I have to pay duties & taxes?

All international orders are correctly declared and may incur additional taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country (US Orders are an exception. See below). These fees will be the responsibility of the customer and must be handled by them. WAH-WAH AUSTRALIA cannot be held responsible for any of these fees incurred, therefore the recipient is liable. WAH-WAH AUSTRALIA is under no responsibility to accept a return, nor issue a refund, where the customer has declined to pay these fees.

Why wool?

Here at WAH-WAH we truly worship at the altar of wool. Not only is wool natural, biodegradable and renewable, it is also resistant to dirt, stains and odour.

How do I find my size?

Please refer to the measurements and information in the size guides which can be found by clicking on the "Size" tab on the relevant product page.

Do you re-release old styles?

We don’t believe in seasonal fashion, so for that reason we repeat styles based on demand. Some styles have been retired (see our Archive) but a majority get re-released from time to time. If a style you have your eye on is out of stock, you can choose your size and click on “NOTIFY ME WHEN WHEN AVAILABLE”. That way you will receive an email letting you know as soon as it is available for purchase again!

Do you offer discounts?

We do not offer discounts. We believe fruit goes bad, not clothing! We approach each and every collaboration as a piece of wearable art to be worn and cherished for a long time, and we believe discounting garments after just a few months goes against our slow fashion values.

MORE QUESTIONS

How do you collaborate with artists?

WAH-WAH was founded in the spirit of collaboration! Each collaboration is carefully curated by WAH-WAH (aka…Kaylene) based on art, music and social causes that are close to her heart. Each collaboration takes the best part of a year to bring to life, from initial design ideation, to sampling, grading, production, photoshoots and release. For this reason, we generally don’t take submissions. That said, if you have an AMAZING idea that you want WAH-WAH to check out, please feel free to email: info@wahwahaustralia.com

Do you wholesale to other stores?

We do not wholesale in the traditional sense due to our unusual pricing structure, but a small handful of carefully chosen art galleries stock our artist collaborations. If you are interested in wholesale purchases at 75% of the RRP, please email info@wahwahaustralia.com to tell us more about your shop. 

How do I get notified when a style is back in stock?

Missed out on a particular jumper design that you really wanted? Not to worry! Just go to the relevant product page on our website, select the size that you are interested in and click on the button that says “Notify Me When Available”. That way you’ll be the first to know when that design comes back in stock.

How are the prices of garments calculated?

WAH-WAH garments are priced quite differently to most clothing on the market (which is all about keeping costs low and margins high). The garments are quite expensive to make, so we basically just double the cost and pay ourselves and the artist royalties out of the profits.

Can I work for WAH-WAH?

Currently WAH-WAH is just a one-woman show run by Kaylene Milner. Her brother Evan assists on the administrative side and occasionally a mate might help out when things get hectic. So the short answer is no…not for the time being.
