20 years sounds like a long time but sometimes it feels like yesterday. Could it really be 20 years since my teenage self was cutting sick with my friends to Date With The Night? 20 years since my teenage self was sitting in my room feeling all the feels whilst listening to Maps? WAH-WAH may have grown up (slightly) but somehow this incredible album hasn't aged a bit.
So how does one of the most iconic art punk / rock / indie / whatever records of all time celebrate its 20th birthday you ask? With an incredible knitted WAH-WAH collaboration of course! The design pays homage to the landmark album by adapting the original Fever To Tell artwork by YYY collaborator Cody Critcheloe.
Modelled by Karen O and photographed by none other than Nick Zinner! What can't they do!?!?!
Details: 100% RWS certified superfine Australian merino wool.
Care: Turn your wool garment inside out, then hand wash in clean, lukewarm water, approximately 30°C, using a mild and gentle detergent. Allow to soak for a period of 10 minutes before rinsing thoroughly firstly in lukewarm water, then finally in cold water. Dry flat in shade. Do not tumble dry. Warm iron. Dry Cleanable.
Karen is wearing a size medium for a relaxed fit. She would usually wear a size small for a regular fit.
WAH-WAH sizing is unisex and the measurements above reflect the garment measurements in cm. We recommend measuring from underarm to underarm of a jumper (sweater) that you like the fit of, and choosing the nearest corresponding size. Keep in mind that the knitted superfine merino wool is pretty stretchy and forgiving, so there is a bit of leeway with sizing. For more info, check out the sizing gallery HERE.
